DAMASCUS, (PIC)-- Mohammed Nazzal, political bureau member of the Hamas Movement, has called on the Arab summiteers currently convening in the Libyan city of Sirte to adopt practical measures to support occupied Jerusalem, the Aqsa Mosque and holy shrines.
He asked the Arab leaders to sever diplomatic relations with the "Zionist enemy", adding that political, cultural and economic normalization should be halted, and slogans should be implemented.
The Arab regimes must adopt practical steps "or else we will reach the stage where we will witness the destruction of the Aqsa Mosque", the Hamas leader warned.
Nazzal told the PIC while participating in a march in Damascus on Friday in support of Jerusalem and the holy shrines that such demonstrations reflect the "pulse" of the Arab and Islamic street, describing the marches as an important means to express the public opinion
